Our Year In Review

2018 was a success

It’s getting to the end of January, which allowed us to finalize our results from 2018! We raised almost $29,000 last year which makes 2018 another successful year. We obviously could not do this without the love and support of everyone around us. To those that made monetary contributions, volunteered at the golf outing, or helped in other ways, we thank you for the continued support!

The proceeds we were able to raise in 2018 has helped advance blood cancer research through our $20,000 donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in the summer. There were great breakthroughs in blood cancer treatments in 2018 and we hope our continued success will be able to help advance those treatments further succeed. In addition, we were able to help blood cancer patients and their families at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. We are working on other ways to give back to those in need in early 2019, so keep an eye out for our next post!

As we look forward to this year, we hope to continue to make a difference. Of course, for us to be able to do that we will need continued support. We certainly appreciate everyone’s help and contributions thus far and we hope you continue to help us make a difference in 2019.

We are finalizing the details for the third annual Swing Away Leukemia Golf Outing, and we expect to be able to share that in the coming weeks! Keep your calendar’s open so you can join us for another great day on the golf course.
