Helping Patients and a New Year

New Year, Bigger Goals

Since the inception of the foundation in February 2017 we had defined our mission as two fold:

1) Fund the advancement of blood cancer research

2) Provide assistance to blood cancer patients and their families

As you may remember, earlier this year we donated $21,500 to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  Our donation was restricted to be used solely within their research portfolio that is dedicated to the advancement of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

Over the Holidays the foundation fulfilled it's goal of providing assistance to those in need.  Specifically, we donated a care package to 25 blood cancer patients who were staying in the UW Hospital over the holidays.

The care packages consisted of various gift cards such as gas, food and target with a total value of $250 each!  We hoped that this small gift can help elevate some of the financial pressure treatment takes on the families, as well as hopefully providing a smile knowing that there are others out there thinking of them and wishing them well.

All in all, the Foundation has donated approximately $28,000 during 2017 and we hope to make it an even better 2018.  We can only do that with the help of you and we can't say thank you enough for everyone's donations and support helping us achieve our mission.

Don't forget, save the date for the second annual golf outing:
